Description

On the eve of their 50th anniversary, the Seattle Sounders FC commissioned the transformation of a Longacres office into their new headquarters. The process involved converted a parking lot into four training fields, including two grass fields and two synthetic turf fields. Washington Rock Quarries supplied materials to general contractor Venture General Contracting and their subcontractors throughout the construction process.

Highlights

Washington Rock Quarries has decades of experience creating specialty products for both natural grass and synthetic turf fields. Our products were used in all stages of the parking lot-to-field conversion process, from the chamber rock used in the drainage systems to the infill sand used on top of the turf fields. Over 65,000 tons of our products were used on the project.
