River Rock
Product Description
1½–4″ Streambed Cobbles are a mix of round rocks ranging from 1½ to 4″ in diameter. They are also referred to as river rock.
Our Streambed Cobbles are mined at King Creek Pit and have a wide array of earthy colors, including gray, mauve, red, blue, white, orange, and brown.
Product Applications
Streambed Cobbles are commonly used in fish habitat and streambed restoration projects. They can also be used in dry creek beds, water features, garden borders, and other landscaping projects.

We offer a smaller 1½ Drain Rock for French drains and landscaping applications.
Helpful Tips
Mixes are random and vary by load. For streambed restoration projects, river rocks of different sizes can be combined to imitate the target stream environment. This is a service typically offered to contractors and government agencies only.
Please note that we do not provide placement services. Contact your local landscaping company for assistance.
About Streambed Cobbles
Streambed Cobbles is a term for river rock used by WSDOT. The word “cobble” refers to a rounded rock that is larger than a pebble but smaller than a boulder. Streambed Cobbles mimic the rocky lining of a stream or river.
Our Streambed Cobbles have a wide array of colors, like what you might see in a Pacific Northwest stream.
